Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 August 2026
1. What this covers
This policy explains what information Expiry Manager collects when you use our web and mobile apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have - including how to export or permanently delete your data from Settings at any time.
2. Information we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email address and password.
- Content you add: items, collections, expiry dates, reminders and tracked subscriptions.
- Workspace and collaboration data: members, roles and sharing activity.
- Usage data: device, log and diagnostic information used to keep the service reliable.
3. How we use your information
- To operate your vault, send expiry reminders and keep your items in sync.
- To secure your account and detect fraudulent or abusive activity.
- To communicate service notices, and - only if you opt in - product updates and offers.
- To improve the product, using aggregated and anonymised data wherever possible.
4. Data retention and deletion
Deleted documents remain recoverable for 30 days before permanent removal. From Settings → Data & export you can request a full export of your workspace data, wipe all workspace content, or delete your account entirely. Account deletion removes your profile and closes your workspace; some records may be retained briefly where required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run Expiry Manager (such as hosting and storage providers), under contracts that require them to protect it, and where required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from Settings, or by contacting us using the details below.
7. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@expirymanager.app.
